Week 9

Week 9

Your baby is nearly an inch and is looking more and more human each week.

You still may not look pregnant.

The body parts, including organs, muscles, and nerves, are starting to take form.

All major joints — his or her shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles — are working, enabling your baby to move its limbs.

Mood swings are common now; it's perfectly normal to feel alternately elated and terrified about becoming a parent.

You may be feeling extra gassy or bloated due to big doses of progesterone your body is producing.
