The embryo is growing extremely quickly, looks like a tiny tadpole.

The heart and circulatory system also begin to form; the tiny heart begins to beat and pump blood.

The skin, hair, nails, mammary and sweat glands, and tooth enamel are beginning to form.

Nourishment and oxygen are delivered to your baby through the placenta and umbilical cord.

Pregnancy symptoms may surface this week if they haven't already. You may notice nausea, sore breasts, fatigue, and having to constantly pee!

It is advised to start or to continue an exercise routine, as it helps develop good muscle tone and endurance.  It will certainly help you manage the difficulties of labour.  Walking and swimming are great choices for pregnant women.

If your breasts are feeling tender – try wearing a sports bra, as it may help with your discomfort.
