A Wonderful Christmas
This Christmas was a lot of fun.Benjamin was more aware of what was going on around him and was able to take part in the gift opening!
I know he doesn’t yet know what Christmas is all about, but I could tell he knew the couple of days we spent with family were “special”. He had a blast running around my parents house Christmas Eve and eating things he normally wouldn’t be allowed to touch such as chocolate and cookies!
On Christmas morning, when we all gathered in the living room to open stockings and gifts, Benjamin looked like he was in heaven as he played with his new toys. It really was a wonderful experience and I know the holiday will only get better with each passing year!
Some favourite toys include: A wood sleigh from me and my husband, Melissa & Doug wood puzzles, a rocking horse and an over-sized teddy bear.
The rocking horse is unique as it neighs and animatedly moves its head and tail! I think it makes a great addition to the nursery.
The teddy bear is extremely cute. Benjamin lovingly calls it “Boo” and enjoys picking it up and placing it beside his other favourite stuffed animal, a white bear named “Doggy”. This tender interaction is very fun to watch!
Christmas is about sharing, giving and getting together with loved ones. And this is exactly what we did this year.
